Colleges want to know what you do outside of class time. They are very interested in what distinguishes you as an individual. Please convey in your own words what you see as your strongest accomplishments and the activities that reflect your uniqueness.

1. What is the one achievement, activity, award, job, or sport that you deem the most important in your past three years at Iona Prep? This should be your most impressive accomplishment; the one that required the most hard work and dedication. Describe this experience. Include how this experience had a positive impact on your development while at Iona Prep. If you have two, you may list them both.

2. List the rest of your achievements, activities, awards, jobs or sports. List these in the order of importance. Briefly describe them.

3. The college advisor needs more about you. Describe the type of student you are. For example, do you enjoy writing, reading books, lab science, mathematics? What is your favorite subject and why? If you are fairly sure about a career path, share it with us in the space provided below.

4. What are you doing this summer? For example: working, attending a college summer program? Explain.

This summer or next fall there may be other important activities or responsibilities that you want to mention. For example, in the Fall you may become a peer minister or elected to the SFC. Don't worry, these will be added to your college file.
