Iona Prep in Peru
Twelve students and six chaperones journeyed to Peru for Iona Prep’s first service immersion trip to South America to visit Christian Brothers’ schools. Fundraising events supported by the entire school community took place over the course of the year and this trip is an extension of that great support. The 18 Prep representatives brought the good wishes of our entire community to Peru. Click on the link below to visit Dr. Kelton’s blog which will keep us updated on the trip. www.ionaprepservice.blogspot.com |

Iona Crew
On Saturday April 10 the Iona Prep Rowing Team competed in the Greenwich Invitational Regatta in Greenwich, CT. The Gaels had a strong showing taking home the gold medal in the boys 2nd Varsity 4+ category beating Greenwich, Fordham Prep, Fairfield Prep, and Saugetuck. The other boats also found success with both the boys lightweight 4+ and 1st varsity 4+ taking home second place. The Boys Junior 8+ didn't have the success of the 4+'s but still managed to beat rival Fordham Prep. Overall it was an encouraging first regatta and the Gaels look forward to next weekend's Mercer Lake Sprints in New Jersey. |
