Iona
students are encouraged to grow in their faith and to be men for
others. To accomplish this, the Prep offers students a Gospel centered,
value-oriented Catholic education.
Mindful that parents and their sons choose Iona Prep for spiritual
growth as well as academic preparation, the Prep offers many opportunities
to worship as a community and to serve others.
Liturgies, Prayer Services, HOPE Soup Kitchen in New Rochelle, Nazareth
Farm in West Virginia, Annual Spiritual Retreats, Peer Ministry
and Leadership Weekends are but a few of the vehicles by which our
students grow in character and develop leadership qualities as they
serve and prepare for adulthood.
With more than 10,000 alumni providing social, athletic and academic
support at various levels, an Iona Prep student realizes the maximum
benefit from these associations.
Support begins at the outset of a student's enrollment with one-on-one
guidance, both peer and professional, and later expands to include
larger group involvement as students advance in their education.
The student grows in a comfortable atmosphere that is conducive
to life-long friendships with faculty and classmates alike.
Once an Iona Man always an Iona Man!
